AMMAR ANWER

Dr. Ammar Anwer is a Neurosurgeon, having Masters of Surgery (Neurosurgery). He did his MBBS from Shaikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar Khan and Master of Surgery (Neurosurgery) from Lahore General Hospital, University of Health Sciences Lahore, Pakistan. He is currently working as Assistant Professor & Head of Neurosurgery at University of Lahore. He is reviewer for many national and international journals and has 15 publications to his credit. His current focus of research is Minimally Invasive spine surgery, Functional Neurosurgery and Epilepsy surgery. He is a Master Trainer for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery in Pakistan. He has represented Pakistan in National and International conferences. Peer Reviewers are one of the most neglected parts of the Medical Research process. They are custodians of the progress of science. With this platform, Dr Ammar Anwer plans to highlight the importance of Peer Review in scientific publications and to get the reviewers the credit they deserve.
