DIONISIOS PYLARINOS

Dr. D. Pylarinos has a diploma and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. He is now Head of the Patras Area Distribution Network Engineering & Construction Section at the Department of Peloponnese-Epirus Region of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A. (HEDNO). He has also worked in Transmission as he was a Substation & Transmission Line Engineer for the Crete-Rhodes Transmission System Operation Section, Islands Network Operation Department of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A., Greece from December 2015 up to January 2021. He was  in charge of the Overhead Transmission Line crew and of the Easements/Rights-of-Way office for Crete and Rhodes from December 2019 to January 2021.

He has published over 60 works, including conference papers, journal & magazine articles, book chapters and books. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and a member of The International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE). He acts as a reviewer for several international journals and he is the Editor-In-Chief of the bimonthly open access international journal “Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research”.
