Latifa Bouissane is currently Associate Professor, accredited to supervise research, HDR, at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Beni-Mellal, Morocco. She jointly performed her PhD research project about indazole at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Beni-Mellal, Morocco and ICOA, University of Orleans, France. She spent five years research stay in Spain carrying on research on curcuminpyrazoles, indium chemistry and phthalocyanine-perylenediimide dyads. She was awarded a DAAD Scholarship for University Academics and Scientists to spend three months research stay in Düsseldorf University, Germany, working on boron chemistry. Her main research activities focus on the synthesis of biologically relevant heterocyclic compounds, catalysis and assessment of moroccan medicinal plants.
