We are pleased to announce two new functionalities available for our registered peer reviewers, central to everything we do at ReviewerCredits.

Validated Peer Reviews. We know the importance for a peer reviewer to publicly display his/her work, as a way to increase his/her reputation as a researcher and to share his/her contribution among the scientific community. As a consequence, we have added a button in the reviewers’ account which allows them to make peer review activity public or private.

By default reviews are private, since we know that a reviewer might not want to share their work. The new section will show the peer review activity that, according to our policies, has been verified by the journals we have contacted asking for confirmation.

Shareable Certificate, now enriched with ORCID imported reviews. As the peer reviewers’ need of sharing their activity online – and in particular on social media – is so evident and growing, we offer them the opportunity to share, just with a click, the webpage that embeds an enriched Review Certificate.

Enriched because now our certificate includes also the peer reviews imported from ORCID, listed after the activity directly transferred to our platform. It follows that the more reviews you add or import to your profile, the more complete and useful your downloadable certificate will be.
