Ahmad Abbas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sharia and Islamic Business Economics at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Majene, Indonesia. With over fifteen years of teaching experience, he began his academic career in 2010 as a teaching assistant at Hasanuddin University. Alongside his academic journey, he has also gained practical experience working in several companies in Indonesia.
At present, he has a full-time academic career as a permanent lecturer at STAIN Majene. Throughout his professional development, he has remained consistently productive in scholarly writing, producing essays, books, and research articles. His collaborations with academics from various institutions across countries have enabled his work to span multiple disciplines (multidisciplinary research area in social and humanities). His research has been published in numerous internationally recognized journals indexed in Scopus, AJG, ABDC, and Web of Science, as well as nationally accredited platforms such as Sinta, MyCite, HEC, ANVUR, and ERIH PLUS.
He has received several awards in recognition of his academic contributions, including three of his most recent accolades, namely the Outstanding Reviewer Award at the Emerald Literati Awards 2024 (UK), the Best Selected Researcher Award at the Reputable International Paper Award 2023 from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Indonesia), and the Best Research Paper Award at the NAFC (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) 2022. He currently holds professional certifications as a writer and editor in Indonesia.
