He holds a degree in Nutrition from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA), a specialization in Clinical and Sports Nutrition from the Institute of Health Research and Management (iPGS), a Master's degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Physiology and Pathophysiology (UFCSPA), and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with an emphasis on the Foundations of Cardiopulmonary and Metabolic Rehabilitation (UFCSPA). He completed a postdoctoral internship in Physiology in the Graduate Program in Comprehensive Health Care at the Regional University of Northwest Rio Grande do Sul (Unijuí). He is currently a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Nutrition Sciences at UFCSPA. He is a co-owner of Ascend Soluções Inteligentes LTDA, where he has initiatives in scientific publishing, a startup focused on nutrition and research and development of products in sports nutrition. He has experience in sports nutrition with an emphasis on exercise physiology and cardiovascular physiology, working primarily on the following topics: supplementation, amino acids, phytochemicals, biochemical biomarkers, strength training, and aerobic training.
