Dr. Misganaw Meragiaw, Addis Ababa University, College of Natural and Computational Sciences. He obtained a bachelor's degree, with honors, in Biology from Dilla University and a Master's degree in Botany from Addis Ababa University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Plant Biology and Biodiversity Management from Addis Ababa University in the Sandwich Programme with the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He is currently involved in many research activities in plant sciences and serves in teaching and advising students at Addis Ababa University.

The current project is entitled "Regional Capacity Building for Sustainable Natural Resource Management and Agricultural Improvement under Climate Change (NORHED-CAPSNAC) Project" at Norway and a contact person at Addis Ababa University for the Erasmus+ Program in collaboration with the Dimitrie Cantemir University at Romania
