The Nigerian Medical Journal (NMJ), which was first published in 1964, is a bimonthly multidisciplinary medical journal published by the Nigerian Medical Association.
Publication scope: The Nigerian Medical Journal publishes scientific reports that seek to advance medical and health science in all areas. The manuscripts submitted to the Nigerian Medical Journal may be in the form of Systematic or Narrative Review articles, Original research articles, case series and reports, Letters to the Editor, Short commentaries, Continuing Medical Education articles and practice materials and Book reviews.
