Ruth Mujica, Ed.D., is an Industrial and Systems Engineer with a Master’s in University Teaching, a Master’s in Software Engineering, a Specialization in University Teaching, a PhD in Educational Technology, with Postdoctoral Studies in Science, Postdoctoral Studies in Emerging Research (ongoing), Postdoctoral Studies in Artificial Intelligence, Education and Research (ongoing), all awarded with honors. She resides in the United States and serves as Founder and President of Grupo Docentes 2.0 C.A., as well as President/Editor-in-Chief of RTED. Her editorial role is exercised in coordination with an External Co-Editor, who participates in final decisions to safeguard editorial independence and transparency, particularly when the Editor-in-Chief appears as an author, in line with COPE, DOAJ, and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. With 15 years of academic and editorial experience, her trajectory includes thesis supervision, methodological advising, service as an expert examiner on academic committees, educational coaching, and editorial leadership in internationally indexed journals. She is the author of more than 2,500 technology-education articles, has 69 articles published in indexed scientific journals, four authored books, and one book chapter; in addition, she has reviewed more than 500 scholarly manuscripts as a peer reviewer. She has been a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) since 2015, serves as Venezuela’s National Ambassador for ReviewerCredits, is an international speaker, and is an active member of scientific communities in multiple countries.
