Prof. Sadanand Pandey is a distinguished academic and researcher, currently serving as Professor in the Faculty of Applied Science and Biotechnology at Shoolini University, India. With over 17 years of experience in Materials Science, he has made significant contributions to organic–inorganic nanocomposites with applications in water purification, nanosensors, sustainable energy, and biomedicine.

He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad and later held the prestigious UGC-Kothari Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. His global research experience includes positions as Research Professor at Yeungnam University, Senior Researcher at RIST (POSCO), South Korea, PDRF at North-West University, and NRF Innovation Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Prof. Pandey’s work spans polymer science, nanotechnology, and composite materials, with a focus on nanocomposites, surface modification, and multifunctional hydrogels for nutrient recovery, drug delivery, water remediation, and biomedical applications. He is also actively involved in developing advanced photocatalysts for environmental and energy-related research.

He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and presented his research at major national and international conferences. With more than 14,000 citations in the last five years, he has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University for six consecutive years.

Prof. Pandey has edited over 10 books, authored 30 book chapters, and reviewed more than 2,000 manuscripts for 350+ international journals and funding agencies.
