Researcher and educator specializing in Discourse Analysis, with a socio-semiotic approach applied to media communication and, more recently, to AI-generated discourse. PhD in Educational Sciences, MA in Linguistics, and BA in Education with a focus on Language and Literature.
I have developed a strong academic career as a university professor in Venezuela and currently teach Spanish as a second language to adults in Houston, Texas. I also serve as a master's thesis advisor in the field of Education at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU), Spain, where I support graduate-level academic research.
My research interests focus on critical discourse analysis, ideological construction in the media, digital rhetoric, and the emerging challenges posed by artificial intelligence in academic and public discourse.
