Researcher and academic specializing in oral histology, embryology and developmental biology. My research focuses on craniofacial and tooth development, regenerative endodontics and the molecular mechanisms underlying oral tissue development. I also investigate oral pathology, dental education, oral health and evidence-based evaluation of complementary medicine, integrating histological and molecular approaches to address both basic and translational research questions.

My work aims to advance the understanding of oral tissue development and regeneration while contributing to improvements in dental education, clinical practice and evidence-based oral healthcare. I actively collaborate on interdisciplinary research and serve as a peer reviewer for international journals in dentistry and biomedical sciences.
